Friday night’s EuroMillions draw was the first time she had ever played any of the National Lottery games.

She said: “I just popped into a newsagent and decided to try a lucky dip for EuroMillions. I kept saying to all my friends that I could be sitting on £1 million and now I really am.”

Jane waited until Sunday morning to check her numbers and was in complete shock when she saw her Millionaire Raffle code on the computer screen. She continued: “I sat for about 15 minutes with my heart racing checking the code over and over. I even went to the shop to get them to check it for me. It wasn’t until I phoned Camelot and they confirmed it that I actually believed it.”
