Adult classes are booming

COUNCIL bosses have seen a five per cent increase in enrolments to adult education classes following a freeze in fees four years ago.

With around 12,000 learners starting adult education classes this week, a partnership aimed at improving the range and quality of adult education opportunities in Edinburgh has been launched to increase uptake even further.

It brings together education providers from the voluntary sector, further and higher education, NHS Lothian and the council.
