Ania’s brush with success

AN aspiring stylist from Stevenson College is in the running for the prestigious Hairdressing Council Student of the Year award.

Ania Zmudzinska, who is originally from Poland but now lives in Fountainbridge, is one of only eight students from across the UK to be shortlisted.

After performing well in the Scottish heats of the annual competition, the 26-year-old will now head to the L’Oreal studios in London on Sunday to show off her talent in front of a team of top industry hairdressers, including Ten Years Younger star Andrew Barton.
