POLICE are appealing for information to help trace a man missing for more than four days.

Mark Jones, 35, has been missing from his home in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, since Sunday, March 16, and Thames Valley Police have now asked residents of Edinburgh who may know anything about his whereabouts to come forward.

Mr Jones is understood to have links to the Capital, and his family are said to be increasingly concerned for his safety.

He was last seen, on Sunday 16 March. Mark is white, of medium build, with dark brown hair, brown eyes, 5ft 10ins tall, and often has stubble. He has long hair, which he sometimes wears in a ponytail or a bun.

It is believed he is wearing dark clothing, including a hooded top and dark boots, and possibly a hat. Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Louise Roddy of Thames Valley Police said: “Mark’s family are extremely concerned for his welfare and desperately want him to come home.

“If Mark is reading this you’re not in any trouble, just please get in touch with your family or police so we know you are safe and well.

“If anyone has any information regarding Mark’s whereabouts please contact the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.

“If you don’t want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
