Artist enters Wonderland

AN exhibition of artworks inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland has opened in the Capital.

The exhibition of work by artist Marie Louise Wrightson will be held at the Leith Gallery until March 31.

Marie said of her inspiration said: “Like many people, I have been influenced and inspired by fairy tales, cartoons, films and children’s books; especially the Alice in Wonderland stories. With my work I have explored a more grown-up Alice, an Alice who is still full of wonder and surprise but who also embraces all the delights of Wonderland during her fantastical journeys.”
