CAMERON Cessford and Dylan Napier, both ten, were among pupils from Lorretto School helping to launch a ceilidh competition in aid of a leading Scottish children’s charity.

The Assembly Rooms in George Street will be throwing open its doors for the inaugural Children 1st Grand Ceilidh on Friday, September 20.

Howie Nicholsby, of 21st Century Kilts, is the headline sponsor and MC for the night.

Children 1st has five tables of ten people to give away to the highest bidder. The charity is running a silent auction for the tables, worth £600, and is encouraging companies and individuals to submit a bid to be in with a chance of gaining a table for ten people.
