Balmoral is ‘best’ again

The Balmoral Hotel has been named Scotland’s Leading Hotel at the prestigious World Travel Awards.

The five-star hotel came out tops from a competitive shortlist of seven hotels to retain the title for the third year in a row.

The World Travel Awards, known as the “Oscars” of the travel industry, are considered the ultimate travel accolade, with votes cast globally by 213,000 travel professionals from more than 160 countries.

Franck Arnold, general manager of the Balmoral Hotel, said: “It is a great honour to receive this award.”
