Bar’s hoping to get beer pong bounce

Anders Wangdahl was making his final preparations for the Capital’s first official Beer Pong Championship.

The bar supervisor at Hemma, in Holyrood Road, will oversee 24 teams competing for mystery prizes at the venue tomorrow night.

The game, made popular by American student fraternities, sees players attempt to throw or bounce a ping-pong ball into one of an opponent’s six beers. If successful, the opponent has to drink the contents. The loser is whoever runs out of cups first.
