A BEER delivery lorry crashed into a wall in the Capital.
The truck crashed in Calton Road, near Leith Street, yesterday afternoon.
The collision happened near the Black Bull and Pivo bars, and closed the road to traffic at the junction near the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police in Edinburgh were in attendance at a road collision on Calton Road involving a beer delivery truck, which has struck a wall.
“Calton Road was closed to pedestrians and through traffic between its junction with Leith Street and New Street.
“Access was still available for cars and pedestrians to the back entrance to Waverley station.”
The road closures were in place for several hours until a recovery vehicle moved the truck.
No-one was injured as a result of the incident, police confirmed.
