Judges of awards, run by Pub & Bar Magazine, were looking at a range of criteria from drinks selection, events and customer service to pub design and facilities to identify pubs around the country which demonstrated the ultimate in hospitality.

The licensees, Iain Pert and Gordon Gilhooley, will now attend the National Pub & Bar Awards Grand Final at London’s iconic BAFTA theatre on Tuesday, May 24 with 94 other finalists, where they’ll find out if they have won the best pub in Scotland award and the overall award.
