The High Court in Edinburgh heard that on December 14 last year police received information that drugs were at Morris’ rented flat at Meggetland View.

They forced entry armed with a search warrant and found more than £4000 in cash, eight mobiles, mixing equipment, cocaine worth about £400 on the streets and 2.4 kilos of benzocaine used to cut the drug.

Morris, 34, earlier pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of the Class A drug.

Judge Lord Uist told Morris he would have faced a five-year jail term but for his guilty plea.
