Bid to help kids stay safe

CHILDLINE is set to announce the roll-out of a new service that aims to help every primary school child in Scotland understand abuse and how they can keep themselves safe.

The ChildLine Schools Service, which will be launched at Davidson’s Mains Primary School on Monday, is delivered by local volunteers and aims to visit every primary school in Scotland by 2016. ChildLine is calling for 200 volunteers.

Local volunteers deliver assemblies in schools.
