Big claim for hotel

A NEW hotel will provide an £8.4 million boost to Edinburgh’s economy, it has been claimed.

The Premier Inn, in Princes Street, has also created 32 jobs, said Whitbread, which owns the hotel chain.

The 97 bedrooms each cater for up to two adults and two children.

Alisa Riva, manager of the hotel, said: “The fantastic location and incredible views of the Castle means it’s perfectly situated for guests whether they are here for business or leisure.”
