Motorcyclists make up one per cent of Scotland’s road traffic, but account for 13 per cent of its fatalities, and throughout the biking season it is not unusual for there to be at least one fatality each weekend.

The campaign is aimed primarily at male bikers aged between 40 and 49. This group make up 20 per cent of all bikers in Scotland but accounts for 30 per cent of those killed or seriously injured.
