Bingo plea is top of shops

BINGO staff at Mecca Leith Capitol have launched a joint fundraising initiative with Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The campaign, Purses for Nurses, is asking for donations of unwanted handbags, purses or wallets, which can then be sold on in Marie Curie’s shops.

The public is being asked to drop off donations at Mecca clubs during the month-long campaign, with money raised going towards helping Marie Curie provide more free care at home to people with cancer.
