A FUDGE maker is celebrating its 30th birthday by taking part in a nationwide race to serve up the sweet treat.
Edinburgh’s Fudge Kitchen, on the High Street, will go head-to-head with branches across the UK to see which can make 30 batches of fresh fudge in the quickest time tomorrow.
Demonstrations will be given, including creaming and loafing fudge into a five-metre slab, getting the perfect consistency and creating the famous log shape.
Visitors will be able to try their hand at making the treat and there will be free samples to try and special offers to buy.
Live music and buskers will keep crowds entertained and there will be a prize for the best 80s fancy dress.
