Bogle takes up Kirk role

BO’NESS minister Reverend Albert Bogle has been named the next Moderator of the Church of Scotland’s General Assembly.

He has been minister at St Andrew’s Parish Church, Bo’ness, for 30 years and has had numerous roles in the Kirk, from serving on the Panel of Worship to leading the Church Without Walls planning group.

In 1985, he founded the Vine Trust, an international charity helping some of the poorest children and communities around the world. The charity’s Amazon Hope Project provides a health service for around 100,000 patients every year.
