Bring out the bunting class

ONE of the Capital’s biggest department stores is to hold bunting classes as part of its Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Staff at John Lewis will offer eager royalists lessons in bunting techniques such as pattern cutting, tacking and stitching, so they can make sure their party is fit for a Queen.

Agnes Clack, from John Lewis’ haberdashery department, said: “With all eyes on the UK this summer and plenty of parties due to take place, bunting is the perfect way to decorate for any celebration.”
