Cagefighting fans in for a double treat

A PAIR of Lothians cagefighters are readying themselves for an upcoming bout in front of their home fans.

Dan Morgan, from Tranent and Kenny Dugay, from Dunbar, take part in separate title fights at the Woodburn Miners Club in Dalkeith on April 15.

Semi-pro fighter Morgan will square off against Craig Sefton while seasoned pro Dugay will fight Enzo Parente.

It is hoped that the event, entitled Clash of the Clans, will see a bumper turnout of locals and fight fans.

This will be Dan’s fifth semi-professionl fight and he hopes to keep his unbeaten record while putting on a show for his home fans

He said: “I’m really looking forward to it. By then I’ll have completed eight weeks of training so I should be raring to go.

“It’ll be a real buzz to fight in front of my family and friends and I hope to win for them.”

Doors open at 12.30pm and the event starts at 1.30pm.
