Can-do plan for recycling

BUSINESSES in the Capital are being urged to recycle drink cans as part of a new scheme.

Every Can Counts helps employers with setting up and promoting drink-can recycling within their organisation ahead of the new Waste (Scotland) Regulations, in 2014.

The initiative, supported by the Scottish Government’s partner Zero Waste Scotland and Irn-Bru maker AG Barr, aims to see that more of the estimated 252 million drinks cans consumed every year in the workplace are recycled.
