The keepsake was discovered by city resident Billy Crawford at the bus stop outside the Usher Hall on January 7, at around 11am.

Mr Crawford handed the item to the Evening News in the hope that its owner could be tracked down.

It is believed the photograph of the older man may date from World War two, while the other could date from the First World War.
