A BANK worker from the Capital has been named a “Volunteering Star” by his colleagues.

A BANK worker from the Capital has been named a “Volunteering Star” by his colleagues.

Adrian Innes, who works at Clydesdale Bank, launched an internship programme inviting students to compete for a coveted position.

He said: “It’s incredibly rewarding to see to see the dramatic change in my pupils by the end of the mentoring programme. Some of the students I started with two years ago were extremely shy and inexperienced, and now they have the focus and confidence to face the working world head on.”
