Centre backs kids charity

A SHOPPING complex has announced RiverKids as its nominated Charity of the Year.

The move by The Centre in Livingston, West Lothian, was welcomed by philanthropist and the founder of the children’s charity, Wendy Simpson.

She said: “This year has been a real struggle for RiverKids. Our premises in Uphall were broken into and hundreds of pounds worth of toys were stolen. But this news has lifted spirits throughout the organisation.”
