Changeworks celebrates green charity award win

A CAPITAL charity has been recognised for its eco efforts in serving the public.

Changeworks recently scooped the award for the Best Green Public Service/Public Sector Provision, sponsored by Nissan, at the third Scottish Green Awards. The environmental and social enterprise charity works with people and organisations across Scotland to reduce CO2 emissions and waste and tackle fuel poverty.

Established in Edinburgh more than 20 years ago, Changeworks has expanded to deliver services across Scotland. Teresa Bray, chief executive at Changeworks, said: “The accolade is a fantastic recognition of our work and the expertise we have developed to help the public find ways to live sustainably.”
