Charities get car sales aid

TWO charities have been given a funding boost thanks to a car dealership.

The Sick Kids Friends Foundation and The Bethany Trust Edinburgh both pocketed a £6000 donation from Peter Vardy BMW and Peter Vardy Vauxhall Edinburgh.

The SKFF will use the money to help fund improvements at Calareidh House in Bingham, while Bethany, which helps around 4000 people across Scotland to stop being homeless or becoming homeless, will put the money towards its community education programme.
