Charity gym in running for bank support

The Thistle Foundation Gym provides a friendly environment with special expertise in working with people with long-term health conditions that have different exercise needs.

In order to maintain supervised gym time as a free service to members with a health condition, the Edinburgh based-Thistle Foundation needs the public vote.

Thistle is based in Craigmillar, and wants to encourage the local community to use the gym. To help those most in need, the gym doesn’t charge people referred from local health services.

It is now in the running for the RBS Community Force award. There are just a few days left to vote online at www.communityforce.rbs.co.uk.
