Charity hits 25th year

A CHARITY that provides supported accommodation for young people is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The Open Door Accommodation Project was launched in 1986, funded by West Lothian District Council, Livingston Development Corporation, and Aberlour Child Care Trust.

Chairman of Open Door’s board, Councillor Frank Anderson, said: “Open Door has helped to change the lives of some of the most vulnerable young people in West Lothian.”
