City officers called up for duty in Cyprus
Now the temperature is set to soar for two Lothians police officers who are about to be sent to Cyprus.

Having been “compulsorily mobilised”, each man will be in charge of a unit which comprises personnel from Argentina, Hungary and Slovakia.
The main role of the unit, which is based in a police station in the capital Nicosia, is to provide security for the often tense and highly-charged meetings between the Greek Cypriot president and his Turkish counterpart.
