Clay pigeon rounds stolen

THIEVES have stolen several hundred shotgun rounds intended for use in an international clay pigeon event from a Lothian shooting centre.

The theft took place between 11pm on Thursday and 7.40am on Friday at the Morton Clay Targets building in Morton Road, Livingston.

The premises had earlier taken delivery of the shotgun rounds for the clay pigeon shooting tournament, which were then locked away.
