JACKHAMMER presents ben sims vs surgeon

lords of techno and two of the best DJs ever come to do battle in the cavernous Caves this weekend.

London boy Ben Sims is the power-funk of techno. He builds grooves within grooves, twisting and turning, continuously raising the tempo and pushing the music on. Mixing from his soul, he communicates through rhythms and beats.

Similarly, the Surgeon is a master craftsman on the decks. Techno played on the grand scale, a journey from the melodic through bubbling acid, finishing off deep and dark. Expect the whole spectrum of techno colliding and groovin’ in the funkiest of ways as the two deck lords cross swords and do battle. A clash of the Titans.

The Caves, Niddry Street South, tomorrow, 10.30pm-3am, £8-£10, 0131-557 8989
