Clued up for murder play

AN amateur dramatics company in East Lothian has announced dates for its latest production Play On by Rick Abbot.

Dunbar Lyric Group will take to the stage at West Barns Community Hall from September 8 to 10.

The play, which is directed by Harris Jones, has a murder mystery theme with ten characters taking part – all of whom face “some form of humiliation” during the performance.

Mr Jones was also tasked with directing the group’s production of Play It Again, Sam last year and has been accepted on to a course at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. Tickets cost £7 (£4).
