College consultation closes

A PUBLIC consultation into the planned merger of Scotland’s four leading land-based colleges has closed.

Oatridge College in West Lothian has joined forces with Barony College, Elmwood College, and the Scottish Agricultural College to look at a new institute of further and higher education.

The consultation received more than 300 responses.

Andy Robb, chair of the partnership board, said, “We were delighted with the level of response, which surpassed our expectations.”
