COMMUTERS are being warned to avoid Little France following a two-car accident outside the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

The accident happened at 4.15pm on Little France Road opposite the old petrol station.

Two people are being treated at the scene – neither injury is thought to be serious.

Both cars are understood to have been written off and are blocking the road.

Police have asked motorists heading south on the Old Dalkeith Road to avoid the area until both vehicles are removed.
