Council cover Lennymuir pothole with fresh 20mph signage
COUNCIL workmen have been blasted for painting a 20mph sign over a pothole-strewn patch of road.
Baffled residents on Lennymuir, beside Edinburgh Airport, compared the move to “applying a lick of paint to rotten wood”.
Local William Imrie said: “As soon as cold weather hits, that sign will be torn up. The actual road markings to highlight the middle of the road are completely faded too.”
