Council income detailed

The amount of council tax that is successfully collected in Edinburgh has increased.

Figures from a new performance report show council tax collection rates rose from 93.9 per cent in 2009/10 to 94.3 per cent in 2010/11.

The income the council collects from council tax, including any reliefs and rebates, has declined slightly from £205.6 million to £205.5m over the same period.
