15-year-old missing from Edinburgh found safe

Sofia has not been seen since Thursday evening and there are growing concerns for her welfare.

Sofia, also known as Bushra, was last seen in the Howdenhall Road area around 6pm last Thursday

Police Scotland confirmed on Monday evening that Sofia Aslam, 15, who had been reported missing from the Howdenhall area of Edinburgh has been traced safe and well.

The public are thanked for their assistance.

The teenager, who is also known as Bushra, was last seen in the Howdenhall Road area of the city at around 6pm on Thursday 17 September.
