Appeal to trace missing French tourist in Edinburgh

Police in Edinburgh are appealing for the public's help as part of their efforts to trace a tourist reported missing in the city centre.

Jean-François Dalleau was last seen outside the Scottish National Gallery in The Mound around 2.30pm on Friday 3rd August.

The 48-year-old became separated from his group and has not been seen since.

Jean-François is a French national who is visiting Scotland and staying in Glasgow.

Jean-François is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, 5ft 2ins tall with dark hair and a dark moustache.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black trainers and a black rucksack.
