Car owners warned after spate of vehicle break-ins across West Lothian

Officers have reminded vehicle owners to remove all valuables from their cars following a spell of vehicle break-ins.

Police have warned cars are being targeted in the Uphall and Broxburn areas of West Lothian and have advised residents in the area to be on alert.

A police spokeswoman said: “We have received reports of break-ins to vehicles in the Uphall and Broxburn areas.

“Don't be a victim - remember to remove all valuables from your vehicle - even if you're only leaving it for a short time.”
