Disqualified driver arrested in Dunbar found with stolen motorcycle inside van

Arrests have been made following the recovery of a stolen vehicle

East Lothian Police have confirmed that two arrests were made

East Lothian Police have reported that two arrests have been made on Sunday following the recovery of a stolen vehicle.

On Sunday 26 January officers from the Midlothian Community Action Team (MCAT) were carrying out enquiries in Dunbar when they stopped and checked the van.

The driver was found to be disqualified from driving and within the van a stolen motorcycle was recovered and returned to its owner.

In a post on Facebook they said: "The male driver and female passenger were arrested and charged with numerous offences."
