Dunbar vandalism: Police appeal for information after two businesses are targeted over the weekend with 'large boulders'
Two businesses in Dunbar were damaged over the weekend by vandals who kicked windows and used ‘large boulders' to damage the glass
The first incident happened at around 10.20pm on Friday, May 7, when the window of The Makery at number 98 on the High Street was “kicked and damaged”.
The second incident took place sometime between 11.30pm on Saturday, May 8, and 7am on Sunday, May 9, when another window was smashed, this time at the Central Cafe at number six West Port.
Police said that the vandals threw what appeared to be “large boulders” against the glass, smashing it.
They are currently following positive lines of enquiry and local community officers PCs Hutchison and Bamford are appealing to anyone who may have information about these incidents to come forward and help with their enquires.
