Edinburgh crime: Police seize £40,000 worth of cocaine and £400 worth of cannabis from streets of Edinburgh
Police recovered illicit drugs with a street value of more than £40,000 in Edinburgh today.
Officers, who were acting on information received from the local community, executed drug warrants in the Capital on Thursday, August 11.
The searches revealed a quantity of cocaine, which was worth an estimated street value of £40,000.

Police also seized £400 worth of cannabis, and a large sum of cash, which they believe was obtained through criminality.
Last month, officers uncovered three cannabis cultivations in the North of Edinburgh, which were worth an estimated street value of over £750,000.
