Edinburgh police arrest man after serious assault on Bonnington Road
Police in Edinburgh have arrested and charged a 49-year-old man in connection with a serious assault in the north of the city.

The incident happened on Bonnington Road around 11.20pm on Saturday 23 November 2019, when a man was assaulted and subsequently required hospital treatment.
Investigators believe a second man was involved.
In a statement, Police Scotland said: "Police are following a positive line of enquiry in relation to the second man involved.
"We would like to thank everyone who responded to or shared our appeal."
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal and the man is due to appear at court at a later date.
