FEARS are growing for a keen hillwalker who has been missing for almost a fortnight.

Herpreet Bilkhu, 43, was last seen at a property in Thorntreeside, Lochend, around 7.20pm on Monday, March 14.

Police said he needed daily medication which he may not have access to.

Mr Bilkhu is described as around 5ft 8in tall, slim build, with a black beard and an English accent. He was last seen wearing a blue turban. He may be driving a white BMW 330 with the registration number YA64 PYD.

Sergeant Patricia Hamilton, of Leith Police Station, said: “We’re increasingly concerned for Herpreet given the passage of time and he needs daily medication that he might no longer have access to.

“Herpreet is a keen hill walker, but this will affect his health if he doesn’t have his medication and we’re appealing for him to get in touch.”

Those with any information can contact police on 101.
