The M90 was partially closed for around two hours after reports of a man falling from a bridge.

Emergency services raced to the scene on the M90 southbound between Junction 1C and Junction 1B at around 6.35pm on Sunday following reports a man had fallen from an overbridge at Dunfermline Wynd, Inverkeithing.

The road remained closed until around 9:10pm, with motorists advised to avoid the area and take alternative routes.

In an official statement, a Police Scotland spokesperson said the force was not treating the death as suspicious.

A report will submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
