Man charged over armed robbery in Leith

Police in Edinburgh have charged a man following an armed robbery in the Leith area.

The incident took place at the Scotmid in Lindsay Road around 6.15am on Sunday 28 May.

Two members of staff were threatened and a four-figure sum of money stolen.

The 25-year-old will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
