Missing Inverness woman thought to be in Edinburgh

A woman who was reported missing from her home in Inverness almost a week ago is thought to be in Edinburgh, police have said.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Donna Bain, who was last seen at about 1:30pm on Friday, September 11.

The Highlands and Islands police division first asked for the public’s help to find the 33-year-old two days ago.

They said their enquiries had revealed that Donna may have been spotted in Edinburgh on or around Sunday, September 13, and have appealed to residents for help tracing her.

She is 5’6” tall, with a medium build and short blonde hair.

Police in the Capital said: “Donna is believed to be in the Edinburgh area,” and asked anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 1762 of 14/9/20.
