Skye the German Shepherd reunited with grateful owner after Edinburgh-wide search

A DOTING dog owner has been reunited with his faithful companion after she vanished from outside a city supermarket.

German Shepherd Skye is thought to have been snatched by a thief from outside Sainsbury’s in Murrayfield at around 5pm on Sunday.

Her frantic owner offered a reward for her safe return while neighbours made online appeals for information.

Skye is back home with her owner

"I’m overwhelmed with how much support we have had and it has paid off as she is back home.

"She is looking good but my mum is taking her to a vet for a once over. Thank you everyone."
