Crunch time for hagglers

BUDDING entrepreneurs from the Capital have haggled their way to the national final of a competition designed to improve money management.

The team from Stevenson College set up “The Credit Crunch Bunch” project aimed at helping students understand borrowing and budgeting as well as delivering tailored money management talks and presentations at lunchtime.

The Credit Crunch Bunch joins a shortlist of three Scottish teams from 110 entries across the UK whose projects have impressed Money for Life Challenge judges.

The Scottish final will be held at the Macdonald Holyrood Hotel on Wednesday, and the winner will attend the UK Grand Final in London next month.
