Debt order to be served against Hearts chief Vladimir Romanov

A DEBT order will be served against Vladimir Romanov’s investment company over a failed payment of £3600 to Edinburgh property consultant Ryden.

The latest in a string of unpaid bills associated with the Hearts owner was revealed yesterday after UBIG UAB Ukio Banko failed to respond before Wednesday’s hearing at Edinburgh Sheriff Court that it intended to defend the civil action. The outstanding debt is for valuation work carried out by Ryden on an unidentified Edinburgh property owned by UBIG.

Romanov is also facing a loss on a building in St Andrew Square and another in West Register Street.
