Dinner stars good sports

A CHARITY sportsmen’s dinner, featuring Tam Cowan, Sandy Strang and Sandy Penman, is set to take place in West Lothian at the weekend.

The dinner is in aid of the Kilimanjaro Football Programme, which aims to send youngsters from West Lothian, who are trained in football skills, to coach underprivileged children in the Kilimanjaro area.

It will be held at Broxburn Bowling Club on Saturday. Tickets cost £30 and can be obtained by emailing [email protected].

The event is organised by Livingston and District Sunday Amateur Football League.
